Anton’s passion for martial arts started at 7 years old and continues today, racking up over 35 years of training.  He founded No Quarter as a boxing and martial arts-focused gym in 2011 and it's a proudly independent business.

 

Anton is a striking specialist with a proven background in boxing, kickboxing and other various martial arts. 

He is a professional in this field and was until recently employed as the head competition coach for the University of Sydney Taekwondo club.


Anton trains people from all walks of life. From the average Joe or Joanne looking to lose a few kilos to people competing in combat sports.

Anton is a nationally recognised boxing and kick boxers trainer that coaches competitors spanning from amateur to elite level. ​

  • Qualified Personal Trainer.

  • Qualified Boxing Coach - Boxing N.S.W.

  • Registered Coach - Combat Sports Authority N.S.W.

  • Working With Children Certified.

  • 25 years working as a full time Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.

  • Over 35 years combat sports experience.

BASIC COMPETITIVE BOXING.
STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING.

Coming to us from London England, Ewan has been an invaluable addition to No Quarter.  Having competed as an amateur boxer since the age of 16, Ewan paid his dues in South London’s oldest and toughest gyms.  He is passionate about all facets of combat sports and that love carries over to his approach to the way he trains.  

 

Ewan’s old school grit and no compromise approach to his own training influences his approach to how he trains others.

In addition to teaching No Quarter’s boxing classes, Ewan reigns as No Quarter’s baldest boxer (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019) and the Knuckle Heads Team Captain.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified Boxing Coach - Boxing N.S.W.

  • Registered Coach - Combat Sports Authority N.S.W.

  • 15 Years competitive boxing experience.

Tiana is a master trainer graduated from The Australian Institute of Fitness with 2 years technical boxing experience and a current amateur fighter under the Knuckleheads Fight Team  also becoming the 2021 New South Wales Novice Champion and is currently regarded as one of the sports up and coming prospects.

 

Tiana is competitive, patient and resilient by nature and it was these qualities that lead her to become a student of the sweet science.

 

Hooked on the learning process, Tiana saw the immediate benefits boxing had on her physical and mental health. It is now her goal to encourage more people; particularly women, to try a combat sport and help them gain the confidence to do so.

 

Tiana is passionate about boxing, the lessons it imparts and the community around the sport.

  • Qualified Personal Trainer.

  • Master Trainer - AIF.

  • Registered Coach - Combat Sports Authority N.S.W.

John teaches the Power & Functional Strength Training on Tuesday and Thursday.

TRAIN WITH JOHN

POWERLIFTING, STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING, BASIC TO ADVANCED TECHNIQUES

John possesses a diverse sporting background spread over more than two decades.

 

He believes in focusing on the basics, including barbell movements to build strength, power and improve overall conditioning.  

 

John's classes focus on proper technique and mastery of the basics, before progression to advanced exercises.  

John loves putting people through tough workouts that build physical and mental strength.  If you're new to strength training and want to ensure you're getting started with a proper foundation, John's class is the one to take.  

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Personal Trainer

  • 10 Years Strength Training and Functional Fitness Training.

  • Boxing and Kickboxing Instructor.

STEVE SCHIEMER

Steve is the gym's wild card.

He comes from a competitive aerobics background of which he was a dominant force at State and National levels.

He has been a professional fitness instructor and master instructor for over 25 years.
Discovering Boxing a little later in his career, he has transferred the enthusiasm and discipline that got him to the highest level in aerobics to his boxing.

 

Steve is a tough trainer and his years of fitness experience become evident when he is addressing the class and putting them through their paces.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 25 years Professional Fitness/Master Instructor and Personal Trainer.

  • National Teams Silver Medalist - Sport Aerobics

  • Creator of Boxing Program to combat Parkinson's disease.

Seamus comes to us from Melbourne. But no one is perfect...

Seeing the error in his ways Seamus moved to Sydney in 2020.
Coming from a competitive boxing background and with an interest in Martial Arts. Seamus managed to turn his passon into a profession.

 

Taking it upon himself Seamus studied a Bachelor of Exercise Science. In an effort to develop himself as a trainer.
His goals are to become the best trainer/boxing trainer he can.


With Seamus's knowledge, experience and passion for fitness he is a fantastic addition to the No Quarter team.
He will push you to new heights.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Exercise Science - Deakin University.

  • Qualified Personal Trainer.

  • Registered Coach - Combat Sports Authority NSW.

  • 5 + Years of competitive boxing experience.

  • Boxing, Strength and Conditioning Instructor.

  • Working With Children Certified.

In 2014 Steph was introduced to boxing as a way to improve her quality of life.

Like many others Steph looked to take her new found hobby to the next stage of what became an almost natural progression from fitness boxing to competitive boxing.

With an unrelenting commitment to herself and to her craft she has become a formidable boxer with enormous athletic potential.

Having competed in over 20 bouts this potential was recognised in 2021 by the State and National Coaches. 


Steph was recruited into the NSW Futures squad which is an endeavor of Boxing Australia to identify and foster the next generation of boxers to represent Australia on the international stage.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Personal Trainer.

  • Functional Strength and Nutrition Coach.

  • Registered Coach - Combat Sports Authority N.S.W.

  • Registered Coach - Boxing Australia.

  • NSW Futures Team Representative - Boxing Australia.
